“Proposing” to your wedding party has become a huge trend over the past few years. I really like the idea because it gives you a chance to make the moment when you ask them more personable and memorable.
We had already decided on our theme and I spent enough hours on websites looking at different wedding related photo sessions so I knew I wanted to incorporate a powder paint shoot into our wedding in some way.
I also saw where a couple had a beer olympics for their wedding party. I loved the idea! What better way for them all to meet than that?
So I sent them all boxes like this.
We used a silhouette machine to make T-shirts for each member of the wedding party and had their title with the numbers to create our wedding date on the back of them. Like this:

I also included a mini bottle filled with powder paint because I wanted them to have a hint as to what was coming.
We taped these cards to the top of the box which asked them and on the back of it we had the details for the beer olympics.
Box Contents:
Card – Ask/Invitation
Bottle – Filled with powder paint to give them a hint of whats to come
T-shirt – To wear to beer olympics
Tissue Paper
So you could make this way easier on yourself by having someone make the t-shirts or cut down your cost and make them yourself. I got shirts for $2 each at Forever 21 for all the girls and guys and used a silhouette machine to cut out the designs.
I also used Adobe Photoshop for the invitations and labels.
They ended up being easy (other than the tshirts) to make and very affordable. I would definitely recommend doing something like this. It was a great opportunity for us all to get together and also provided some awesome pictures for our wedding website.
Here are some that our photographer, Rebecca at ENV Photography got that day.
